Tori & Taylor's Love Story.....

Tori & Taylor originally met through high school. They became best friends and over time their friendship blossomed and turned into Love.

The Proposal...

Seven months into their relationship on one beautiful clear starry night in 2012, Tori & Taylor went for a evening walk along the beach. Taylor turned to Tori, got down on one knee and he asked her to marry him...Of course she said yes!

Taylor surprised Tori with an engagement on a later shopping trip to Mackay. Tori and Taylor were engaged for 6 years before deciding to tie the knot.

Wedding Style.....

Tori and Taylor's Wedding was simple yet beautiful. They didn't want anything over the top as they wanted the destination to speak for itself. They chose soft periwinkle blues for their main colour features. For table decor they decided on a classic design of submerged baby's breath in glass vases presented on mirrors and a soft periwinkle table runner underlay to theme.

Wedding Reception....

Tori & Taylor invited 65 guests. They were delighted that all invitees were able to attend. They chose a sumptuous alternate drop menu all thanks to Aquava catering.

Location...

The Whitsundays has been Tori's home for over 12 years so it it made sense for them to have their wedding here. Tori wanted to show her friends and family what a beautiful part of the world they live in. So what better place to have it than right on the waters edge at the Whitsundays Marine Club. T

Tori: "The sunset over the water made for beautiful photos and the colours in the sky were so pretty..it just made the night even more spectacular"

Planning the wedding...

Once their wedding date was locked in, Tori decided to plan and organise the wedding herself and started the wedding planning process 9 months prior. However, Tori did require a little guidance of which Louise at Divine Weddings was delighted to assist and guide Tori with a choice of planning assistance service options.

Splurge V Save....

Tori and Taylor chose to splurge on their photographer, videographer, and decor and saved on their location, dress and choice of flowers.

Tori"definitely invest in a photographer and videographer as once the day comes to an end , photos and videos are the only thing you have to look back on to remember your wonderful day!"

Wedding memories....

Tori: "my most memorable moment was knowing I was going to cry when I walked down the aisle and seeing Taylor there all handsome and proud...definitely got me in the feels!"
