Maddie & Harry
Some love stories seem to take the scenic route, and Maddie and Harry’s is certainly one of them.
After a few unexpected twists and turns and falling pregnant with their beautiful little boy, their wedding plans were postponed a couple of times. But, as it turns out, their wedding day was simply waiting for the perfect moment.
Finally, surrounded by their closest family and friends, Maddie and Harry were able to say “I do” at the beautiful Mirage in Airlie Beach, in the heart of the Whitsundays.
And what a celebration it was.
Their intimate wedding was filled with all the things that matter most... love, family, friendship and plenty of incredibly special moments that made the day uniquely theirs.
Walking down the aisle alongside Mum and Dad, their children were right there in the middle of the moment, making the occasion even more meaningful and creating memories that this family will treasure forever.
There was also an extra-special connection within the bridal party. Harry’s best man was married to Maddie’s maid of honour, meaning two of the most important people standing beside them were not only their closest friends, but husband and wife themselves. With so much love already woven throughout their friendships and family, the entire day felt wonderfully connected.
After everything it had taken to get there, finally seeing Maddie and Harry surrounded by the people they love most made their wedding all the more special.
It wasn’t about having the biggest celebration or following a perfect plan. It was about finally bringing two families and a circle of very special friends together to celebrate a love that had already grown into something much bigger, a family of their own.
Set against the beautiful Whitsunday backdrop, Maddie and Harry’s wedding was intimate, heartfelt and full of genuine emotion.
Sometimes the best things are worth waiting for and it was absolutely worth the wait.
