It was the picture perfect day for this wonderful couple who chose to hold both their Ceremony and Reception at the Whitsunday Marine Club. This was an extra special wedding as the entire day was planned and organised by... The Groom!!
Andrew, is an incredible guy, literally planning every single thing, every phone call, to organising a pink theme candy bar and even making the chocolate covered strawberries!!! He has certainly set a high standard as a husband from the start! Kayla we know you are so proud and blessed to have a such a wonderful Husband!.
Their love story…
Four years ago Kayla travelled to Airlie Beach to visit her friend Rochelle (who was one of their Bridesmaids). It was there she met Andrew who was living in Airlie Beach at the time and ...it was love at first sight. A couple of years down the track and they have a beautiful baby boy Jayden, who Kayla says has brought them closer together and made them stronger as a couple

Destination Wedding…
As they met in Airlie Beach it was a important for them to get married here. Both Kayla and Andrew agree they both love Airlie Beach and its where their love story began so it became a natural choice to return here to marry.
Wedding Week…
Kayla and Andrew drove to the Whitsundays and went out for lunch and dinners at most of the restaurants with their family and friends. They didn’t do any day trips as they hired a massive room with an amazing balcony and just had quality time together on the balcony. Kayla says the views were incredible and they ended up extending their time and stayed at the Pinnacles longer.
Whitsunday Wedding Venue…
Kayla and Andrew chose the The Marine Club as their venue as it is one of their favourite spots being right on the edge of the water and has the most incredible sunsets. They had 80 guests for a sit down buffet inside the venue. They just wanted to eat, get the food out of the way and then party!
Styling and Decor...
Andrew's vision was originally a beachy them but with their style and colours in mind it turned into a more elegant theme with pink, white and diamantes being the main elements.
The pink theming of the venue tied in beautifully with the Bridesmaids gorgeous pink dresses and the Groomsmen's pink bowties. Lush pink sashes adorned the chairs whilst pink lanterns and pink ribbon-tied napkins completed the detailing.
Table decor consisted of lit vases of crystals and pearls accompanied with crystal scatters over soft pink table runners.
Overhead lighting on the waterside lawn of the Marine club provided a relaxed outdoor setting where they had a band and dance floor on the lawn to continue their dancing and celebrations into the night.They also splurged on a photo booth.
