Congratulations to Katie & Owen Nugent who celebrated their wedding on Saturday sharing their special day with their two sons Cian and Max, and around 65 guests consisting of family and friends from near and far.

The weather turned out to be just perfect for their outdoor waterside Reception at The Marine Club after tying the knot at St Martins Church. Guests, family and friends travelled from all over Australia and as far as Ireland to watch this lovely couple exchange vows.

Styled by Divine Weddings Whitsundays our stunning Bride Katie chose coral-orange colour theming in line with her colour choice of Bridesmaids Dresses. The colours looked wonderfully vibrant on the marine club lawn as the sun was setting over the water side.

Enhanced with lemon myrtle foliage and baby's breath, these handcrafted white wooden custom-made lanterns provided the perfect natural centrepieces to complement their outdoor setting.

Overhead Festoon lighting and a lit Bridal backdrop provided a wonderful ambience for this very relaxed Reception. The driftwood bridal table centrepiece was beautifully decorated with an infusion of coral carnations, lemon myrtle foliage, succulents and baby's breath.

The Bridal party certainly enjoyed their evening with some heartwarming speeches followed by entertainment provided by one of our local bands "The Breeze Duo".

Katie and Owen's amazingly detailed 2 tier beach-side inspired wedding cake was lovingly created by Kerry Cooper of Coopers Crazy Cakes.
